I was just wondering if anyone in these forums is an admin or a mod in any other place. I know Homer is an admin at that kustomkettle thingymy (feel free to correct me. your life, not mine ;) )...
I'm an admin/mod of our clans website.. that isn't exactly a big thing... I'm also one of the head admins for our clans server for CSS. I'd say I'm a fair admin... I sometimes lose my cool when someone is spamming the mics or spawn camping... that's when I get out Mani mod and freeze them to the ground/gimp them/kick them. Not too harsh... Some people annoy me more than others though. I have nothing against 13 year olds... but 13 year olds who spam the mic, spam the text, spam with grenades, spawn camp... They get what they deserve from a vengeful admin...
And when I was asked if I wanted to be admin, I was thinking "hmm, I could seriously abuse my powers here. this could do wonders for my rank!". but when I got the powers, I found that more often than not I would have to be in spectators to check out suspiscious players, and demo people for mic spam, and track down offensive sprays... Never knew how hard it was to be an admin! I've got to ref the clan wars... It's hard, but well worth it.
Anyone else an admin? Mod? Any funny stories?

My buddy was an admin of some random DoD server and he always abused his powers
He set his health to max and then light himself on fire and run around and set his teammates on fire
He would turn the gravity to 0 and then when everyone was up in the air he would set the gravity to max and kill everyone :D
He would set the gravity on max and as everyone would run off the ramp to go out of spawn they would all die and if they didnt trust him he would go off first and then set it to max

Its fun when random idiots come in the server and start being asses and dont know your an admin and start saying shit about the admins and how god awful the server is and you just keep egging him on without him knowing your an admin
and after he's said a whole bunch of shit you tell him hes an admin and kick/ban him :D
Im an admin on KustomKettle with Homer

I used to be an admin on a CoD server, but I decided to quit. It wasn't worth the work. I enjoy just playing the game, not being a nanny to all the immature kids that pollute game servers.

Sure thing...
202.125.44.7:27017 - clan-beef dedicated.
It's based in Brisbane, Australia, and has a ping limit of 200 or 250. Can't remember which... Either way, it might be a bit far for most people here to join in with. And that whole thing of "time zones"... Not many people play in our server at 3.00am... well, one person does, and he plays against bots all night to get his kill count above mine... 5800, all of which I earnt... Damn him and his bots.
But yeah, if you want to play in the server, feel free... Just be aware of ping kicker...

I'm a senior member of the "Brink of War (1947-1958)" Mod Team for Hearts of Iron II and have admin rights to our/their forum

I'm also a member of the "Alexis Project" for Hearts of Iron II, and since they share forums with the Brink Of War Mod I also have admin rights there...

Then I'm doing some graphics for the new "Napoleonic Mod - Birth of modern Europe" for Victoria, but I haven't had much to do yet...

I also make small graphic changes (icons, backgrounds etc.) for Hearts of Iron II, which can be seen here http://hoi2.de/hosting/rommel/index.php (I'm Christensen)

Im not an admin for anything. In my clan im a Lance Corporal. The only way I could have power during a DoD Match would be if everyone else were Privates or other Lance Corporals and I was chosen as the squad leader.

Back when I played Rise of Nations a hell of a lot I had my own site and forums, so you could say I have admin experience.
