It says its a HL2 mod, but its basically CSS gameplay with more strategy. There are two teams, American and the (Something) Coalition. You pick a team and class (Rifleman=SMG/Rifles, Sniper=Sniper Rifles, Ranger=Pistols, Gunner=MGs), and then play the game gaining XP for capturing objectives, kills, and your team winning. You gain levels (through 5) which give you more accuracy with your weapon, and generally thing like more armor or speed.
The cool thing is that each round, your team is either attacking or defending. A random team member gets to make the call on which objective to defend or attack, and they choose an attack pattern (go the long way, frontal assault, or through another obj.). If you're defending, the person gets a choice to defend the objectives that are held by your team or to "Wait and See" and let the enemy make a move. 45 seconds to capture, and 5 seconds to get another guy on the area before you lose the time you have captured if noone is in the area.
The weapons are fairly limited since the game is only in Beta 3 but they all look nice and are fairly realistic on spreads, rates, and damage.
Beta 3 right now, and I am fairly satisfied with it as a replacement to CSS. The interface is clean, pings are the same as CSS, and way better strategic gameplay than shooting people or planting a bomb.
