You said: ''Well... I think that was it''.
Then I said: ''I don't.''. Like: ''I don't think that's it'' because I wanted (and still want) you to show one of your po?ms. Only if you like of course. I know things like that can be very personal. :)

Well... I've tried to translate one of my po?ms... the translation is not good (but neither is the po?m :D)

Daylight in a nameless city

I long for the daylight in a nameless city
Long for strangers to whom I can confess my sins
for metros, concrete and forgotten olive groves
Long for the dream that disappeared with yesterday's rain

I find safety when I'm with the tramps
When I'm among lawyers, junkies, and faceless magnates
I watch sceneries from a former but yet unswallowed life
in my room at the end of the hall

I creep through the streets
I avoid waking up the sleeping light posts
I hide on open squares
and in old ladies hand bags

I watch people as they sail from building to building
in search for ships that will never leave shore
Watch them wave to people who were once their friends
but have now escaped

I long... but I don't miss

Hey... I did warn you... I'm not a good poet :D

Edit: do you write too?

I am no expert when it comes to po?try, but I think I can say this one certainly holds some quality and that you are a talented young man!

Thanks for taking the time to translate the po?m. :)

No, I'm not really into writing po?ms but I'm sure known to be artistic in some ways (painting / expressing myself on paper in some matters - not po?ms). I guess everybody has their own outlets. :)

Dwell

Whispers.
Can you hear?
A sprinkle of moonlight dancing.
A torrent of waves crashing.
All the love in the world.
All the pain.

Silience.
Felt so cold.
So much is not understood.
Eternity, in uncomfort.

Importance.
A word or phrase.
A look, a gesture.

Timing.
Lost to many.
Held true to others.
They who know the importance.

---------------------------------------

Hollow

ill take this rest,
sweet as wine.
conscience clean,
this conscience mine.

evil thoughts,
and a darkness inside.
losing myself,
im losing my mind.

captured and captive,
its all in the game.
people are fire,
and should burn in shame.

im sorry for myself,
the way ill never be.
im sorry for you,
but not as sorry as me.

waste what you are,
take it one step at a time.
pleasing yourself,
pleasing your mind.

-----------------------------

Dont remember the name, this one is published.

life is passing before our eyes.
our friends are dead and gone.
some hold true
some hold on.

with all the days we die,
and the nights you will never see.
dead to the world,
are you and me.

start this with violence,
start this with pain.
seasons come,
and seasons change.

avoid the inevitable,
retrace your youth.
find your answers,
find your truths.

Well, then you should be able to recognize John "Faxe" Jensen our Assistant Manager and former player for your Gunners ;) ... And I must admit that one of my greatest football moments was watching Arsenal beat Aston Villa in the last match of the 1997/1998 season on Highbury... Never have I experienced such great audience and teamspirit (a pity that Spurs couldn't beat the Red Devils to bring you the Championship that day)

And by the way... The Manager (on the right) is as stated before Michael Laudrup. He have played for such big clubs as: Juventus, Lazio, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Ajax Amsterdam (Not to mention Br?ndby :D)

Hehe... I believe he played there in the years 1993 to 1996 or something like that... he only ever scored one goal for Arsenal and became somewhat of a cult status (right word???)... I remember the T-Shirts saying "I was on Highbury when John Jensen scored!" :D

btw... he scored one of the goals when Denmark beat Germany in the final of the European Championship in 1992 :) (those were the days)

<SaF>Sgt.S0apy
07-20-2005, 10:27 PM
However, many Arsenal fans had seen Jensen's goal in the Euro 92 final (an excellent first-time strike from the edge of the area) and were expecting more of the same. He played 132 games for Arsenal, but he is chiefly remembered for the cult hero status he earned, somewhat akin to Perry Groves before him. No matter how hard Jensen tried (and, for a defensive midfielder, he tried exceptionally hard), he could not score a goal. The Arsenal fans came up with a song, "We'll be there when Jensen scores!" and by 1994, Jensen's search for a goal was such a cult cause that whenever he got the ball, no matter whether he was inside his own penalty area or bearing down on goal, the Arsenal fans would implore him to "Shooooot!".

SHOOOOOOOoooTTT

Thats good, at least someone is buying it, you won't catch me or anyone I know paying $599.99 for a Graphics Cards, and I don't care if it made games in 3D, I will wait for Radeons next wave, then buy the x8550 when it goes down in price as it's doing so right now.

Good Luck with the PC. :)

Whoa that's a great setup you got there Airforce :) But watch out at night because I might come and pull out your motherboard when I go to Germany in December :D lollno but I'm thinking of getting either the 7800GTX or the new ATi, just not in SLI ;)

I just got this 30min ago, well I ordered it anyway.

I was looking every were for this card because it was the cheapest Radeon X series with 256, it was selling at Best Buy for $199.99, finally found a deal.

That's not a bad deal, the card is still pretty good and its good value for money.

Win XP Prof SP2w00t great system specs.

But you use Windows right? Why 4GB RAM? when the Windows vspace can only handle 2GB max??

2x 256MN nVidia 7800GTX SLI <- gotta love this :D:D:D
But the R520 Fudo claims they will be at least 2x as fast as the G70 but it already had 1.4x 3DMark03 :p which means it will be faster than 7800GTX in SLI...

Am I glad I didn't buy the 7800GTX in SLI :D

Imagine that thing in Crossfire (note: Crossfire already proved itself to be a great SLI competitor...)

But why?? I want the RSX for PS3 based on the 7800GTX to be faster as the R500 based on the R520 for XBox360... :(
Why?

I'm beginning to get more and more ATI fan...

I hope 2GB+ will work on Windows Vista, so I would buy meself WinVista and 4GB maybe 8GB...

I guess when WinVista will be out, computer will standard have more and more memory so that DDR2 and XDR will be less pricey.
It would also stimulate the RAM business even further! :D

Here is a hint for people who use Windows XP and Windows 2003.

Never place files other than .lnk or .url on your desktop.
The reason why Microsoft only put links on the desktop is following:
Since Windows XP came WinXP uses thumbnail databases to improve performance.

If you place either .exe or .zip files on your Desktop folder you system will check it completly from top-to-toe.
Searching for valid information, and icons.

If you place full folders on your Desktop folder, de Explorer shell will completly search every file in the folder for Indexing-Service and for thumbnail database.

If you only have shortcuts files (links) or url's you can have a in Windows boot-up time from max. 20 secs.
However if you have some folders and some files on your desktop the boot-up can vary from 4 minutes to 9 hours...
And I'm not joking or be sarcastic.

That is why your computer gets slow even though you cleaned it from spyware, virusses and crap and if you defragmented it.

Trust me it works if you follow these tips...

And don't forget to completly and carefully dust you computer from the inside!
Most of the times, people are unaware that dust can cause performance-loss to complete computer-loss, the is the main reason why people buy new computers even though they just got one...

ATI's Crossfire has been proven that the prototype only is already faster and cheaper than SLI...
SLI doesn't feature multiple ways to render, SLI cannot let both graphics cards combine the Anti-Aliasing power into Super-Anti-Aliasing.
SLI needs more power, SLI cost more, SLI only works on 6600GT, 6800GT & Ultra & 7800GTX while all 9800PRO's and all X-serie cards can be unlocked by flashing the bios into Crossfire ready bios...

So I'll cancel my 7800GTX SLI pc and I'll wait for the R520 Fudo (X900XTPE) in Crossfire since it would be 2.12x faster than 7800GTX, and even quicker with Anti-Aliasing.
