Tiger commanders got together and created a manual for new tiger crews being trained. The link below is an online copy of the manual. Of course, its not translated, heh.

That is really cool man! I always wondered how the germans managed to avoid the "trial and error/death" training style :D.

Speaking of the pics. . .to what purpose does it server to put catoon images of naked women? Boost morale?

Probably to make it interesting to read, or to distract people who tried to decode it.

I haven't seen a full English translation. The only thing I've found is this
http://www.okw.wwiionline.com/tigerfibel/index.html which seems to be a work in progress and only has the first dozen pages translated.
The first part of the fibel is mostly a collection of basic facts (4m under water, 700 horse power, 60 tons, etc etc), approval from the OKW for producing the fibel, and some impressive quotes to reassure drivers:
This Tiger received the following hits in 6 hours:
227 Bazooka hits
14 hits 5.2 cm and
11 hits 7.62 cm.
None of them penetrated.
Some wheels and most of the connecting links were destroyed.
2 shock-absorbers didn't work anymore, he catched three mine hits.
The rest of tigerfibel explains pretty much everything you would ever need to know about operating the tank. How to range targets, how to use the German gun sight optics, maintenance, how to perform neutral spins (Shermans could not do this), how to replace roadwheels, how not to break the transmission (60 ton tank with a transmission designed for a 20 ton tank), angle on your target, how to store munitions.

The english translation was worth about £50 when I picked it up. Its a translation and goes into greater depth. Right down to bolts. I'll find it out later and get the ISBN number.
For people interested in this type of book, there are two others I know of, Panther fibel and Panzergrenadier fibel.

That's pretty cool. Nice post mate. If I ever need to travel anywhere and the only form of transport is a tank, I am totally sorted.

Yeah I always wondered if there were manuals for tanks, I guess there needs to be some way of experience to be passed on. Just wish I could read it :P Look forward to that ISBN number

Have had to search for an ISBN number as Ive just realised that Ive sealed back up my copy of the book.
'Tiger I - 50th Anniversary Commemorative Collectors Edition'
B000E8PYJA
$188.88 from Amazon - and THEY are cheap.
