Ok, its an amazing game, I bought it recently, and everyone is loving it. Who wants to find a server and meet up one day? I have a possible Teamspeak server we could use. Any suggestions?? :)

Speaking of Red Orchestra, anyone who played in BFE should know that a successor, Iron Crescendo (http://forums.ironcrescendo.net/index.php), was created. Basically it's organized so that players are put on to Axis and Allies; as an Axis member myself I can only tell you the Axis organization, 4 regiments, an offensive, defensive, "kommando," and the Panzer Lehr, each regiment with a commanding officer and two assistant officers. You fight for Europe on a map, with each side's General choosing where to attack and the circumstances of the attack via bidpoints. I can't explain all of it, I'm just a grunt. But if you like RO and are looking for the definitive team experience, sign up!

Back on topic though, I love Red Orchestra, and would gladly participate in a game with your 1944ers.

And no, mics aren't required, but they are for Axis tankers to the best of my knowledge, since tanking is a very communication-intensive duty. As long as you have Teamspeak in order to hear your officers and comrades in battle you should be set.

When I'm a rifleman I usually don't pass them up, but sometimes I can't resist picking up a Ppsh. :p

it is a fairly realist game i'll give it that... but for some reason that game jut gets me so infurated.

I get infuriated a lot when pubbing, where oftentimes things turn in to an every man for himself battle and I find myself getting killed time and time again because my "team" isn't working like one.

Since BFE's demise I haven't done a whole lot of RO, save for with friends every now and then. Looking forward to the start of IC -- it's teamwork without the committment you'd give a clan. They're having a scrim today; sign up for the forums I suppose. Pick a side in the General Announcements forum.

Hehe, well at least plenty of replies, I saw Lazlazlaz1 on earlier. I don't mind what time or date, considering I have no job or school for like 9 weeks. Urmm, I dont have xfire, so can't add any of you on there, but closer to the time, I will tell you the TS server, if you want. I prefer playing with mics, cos its just better. :)

Well apparently Red Orchestra has stopped working on my computer. Until I find a way to reinstall it (difficult), I am unable to play :mad: . I miss it already :( .

Kapula, does your name include the ^ bit?? I have added everyone so far, and thats a shame Lord Justin, mine keeps occasionally saying there is an error in some file, but it works most of the time.

Hmm for reinstall, just delete local content and redownload it, or before that you might want to try "Verify integrity of game catche...", that worked for me.

I've been waiting for the demo for RO since it came out in March. I know if i go out and buy it, it'll run like crap or something goes wrong and it doesnt work.
Hopefully i'll get it soon though.

well the min requirements are:

1.4GHz p4
256mb ram (although I have 512 and it takes 3-5 mins to load a map even with all the tweaks done)
64mb dx9 video card (ati 7500, nvidia mx440 or higher)
dx8.1 sound card.

the most important thing is ram as the graphics arent exactly "next-gen", or even current gen. but the load times still manage to be long somehow.

What even with the new file system my load times before the new file system were 45 secs and i had 512 ram now they're even better.

Alright, thanks, I'll try that. Hopefully I can get it up and running and, if not, I'll install it when I get a new PC. Of course it may take approxamitely forever for me to get a new PC...:(
