It has been awarded numerous awards which you can find on the website aswell. It looks really good and probably some of you have seen the regular updates on IGN PC.
Oh btw Beta is out for Fileplanet subscribers.

Ah yes! I have seen this ultra realistic RTS. What I saw looked good, but clearly it was also scripted so this put me off a little. No doubt I shall download the demo when it is released

Yeah i've been following this for awhile. Its done by Relic the guys who did dawn of war so doubtless it will be a good game:D
Mehh i followed it for a little while... Looks nice, but theres just something to it that draws me away... Cant put my finger on it tho..

I've had a special eye on this game aswell. Looks like a very realistic and open game, looking forward to it.

Same here. I gave up on the game. I'll get the demo but it doesn't look worth $50. Don't know what it is that makes it seem not so good : \
This isnt the only reason but i dont like the fact that some of the screenshots feature 10+ men using only thompsons.

I've played the BETA. If you liked Dawn of War you will like Company of Heroes. The gameplay is very similiar. It is not ultra realistic, but very good indeed.
I will be getting the final game when it is released. As with Faces of War.

Hmm... Looks kinda cool. Sudden Strike still did it for me as a WWII RTS. It was odd seeing some German dudes holding some kind of MG in their hands while standing and shooting semi-accurately. Skilled grenadiers.

That was actually a german tactic the MG would run forward and fire.
Oh and the game i have been watching for ages, cant wait.
Were do i download the demo?

The games is not going to be realistic, only the soldeir AI will be. Doesnt have to be realistic though, looks like fun.
I'll try and get the open beta when it comes out, like I did with Dawn of War

Looks pretty cool, but I don't understand why most of the soldiers are standing around in the open when a tank is heading right for them. I dont know, I might download the demo and try it out.

Its not an open beta.
And doesn't Fileplanet have a free trial period when you first subscribe? You'd probably get into some NDA trouble, but you could just sign up for time enough to get the beta and then cancel. If this does turn out to be something I shouldn't say, I'll remove it.
*edit*
Given the AI's adaptability, some very good puzzle games could be made relatively easily(more easily than other projects). 1944's variant of the Reality Engine would make one hell of a Sudoku game, and the power of the engine could provide a very good looking backdrop.
