The Warcraft movie is being done in that style and a Warhammer: 40K film is being thought up as we speak.

Blur does alot of CGI work for games. I always loved the 15th/16th century Spanish-styled military of the original Warhammer, using a mix of gunpowder and conventional melee weaponry.
