Edit: reworded,
I remember when I was in school, one of my history teachers had his classroom decorated with alot of ww2 stuff.

One of these was a poster, which showed the Emblems for each of the British armies during ww2.

Am trying to find the emblems for them all, that is:
1st Army, 2nd Army, 8th Army, 9th Army, 10th Army, 12th Army and 14th Army.*

Scooting around the net I have been able to find 2nd armies badge:
linky (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:2nd_british_army_badge_large.gif)

And what must be 8th Armies badge:
linky, bottom left of Montys tank (http://www.tankshack.com/testing/xoops-2.0.9.2/html/uploads/photos/1795.jpg)

But cannot find the others,
I believe that 1st Armies badge was similar to 2nd and 8th Armies but the cross was red.
Can anyone confirm this?

Anyone got any pictures of the other emblems?

Thanks for the help guys n gals :)

*in case your wondering or saying the British didn’t field that many armies,
1st Army was the British forces during Operation torch, the army was disbanded after the war in Africa finished, and its divisions went elsewhere.
2nd Army was the British troops, which fought across NW Europe during and after D-day.
8th Army was founded in the desert from the Western Desert Force, it later landed on Sicily, followed up by Italy and for the rest of the war fought its way north.
9th Army is the only army I have no idea about.
10th Army, stationed in the Middle East, put down the Iraq Rebellion, invaded Syria and Persia and then guarded the Persian border from any possible German attacks via Russia.
12th Army, formed in ’45 from the majority of 14th Army, stay in position to protect Burma while 14th Army prepared to invade Malaysia.
14th Army, British, CW and other forces stationed in India and Bruma … the forgotten army, defeated the Japanese and recaptured Burma.
