What a beast. It also says he has atleast two hundred kills with a smg. Quite impressive.

I like how he doesnt gloat about his kills, he merely states
"I did what I was ordered to do the best that I could"
and that he got so good with a sniper through "practice"
Very amazing to me....
505 kills... that's... alot.

I wouldn't trust wikipedia, some of it is bull. I have had 3 professor's at my university tell me never to use wikipedia as a reference. Anybody can put anything in this webpage. I wouldn't hold it as accurate history.

Its also on another website, and I am sure if you look him up you can find him. There is no reason for people to lie about something like that, especially if you find the same thing from 2 sources.

I'm not saying the story is incorrect. I was just saying becareful what you research on wikipedia. Some stuff isn't 100% accurate.

I dont trust the wiki when i need solid evidence, but it often sends you in the right direction for trivial information.

Yeah, my profs tell me that too, they are in part right, but they're missing out on the whole concept. They know that they are the experts, and so if they didn't write it, then it can't be considered correct. In this way they retain for themselves the monopoly on information. As in, only they can be trusted to be right.
They have a lot to lose if a wikipedia gains academic acceptance, so they protect themselves by degrading it. I also think they don't really grasp the wide reaching effects of Wikipedia and similar information hubs.
I generally trust Wikipedia, but I also make sure to read the discussion pages.
As for that sniper, pretty amazing stuff.

An interesting article on the subject of factual accuracy:

Yeah I have heard of him too. Amazing! He was (still is?) a weapon of mass destruction. I beliefe that the best fighter pilots were too in Finland in WW2. Atleast the most successful air attacks and defences were in Finland. Finland was known as poorly eguiped, small army but VERY, VERY effective. The Normandy was just a sandbox fight compared to Soviets VS Finland, and later German turned on us too. I would recommend you to study the biggest ground based assault in WW2, which was when Soviet Union tried to take Finland over. It is amazing stuff to read, of how we pulled it off and how we stopped the beast with little men and weapons.
