Tactical FPS...

I would like RTS games, but the fact that they are all basically board games and don't go for true immersion pushes me away. FPS's are more visceral experiences and realistic ones really make you think strategically as well...

But I have a place in my heart for a good old platforming-action-adventure any day!

FPS or 3rdPS (same idea :) ) I also love flying sims where u shoot people....which turns out to be kinda like a fps. I also enjoy adventure everyonce and a while.

Well I like many genres. For example I like fallout series which belongs to RPG genre. Tactics is somewhere there.

Then there's strategy genre. I've always loved Heroes 3, WH40k: DoW and many other strategy games.

Then of course there's the FPS genre. Nowadays I usually only play FPS games, though I play Dawn of War sometimes.

Now that I think about it... Only genre I don't like about is simulation. I don't like flight, driving or fishing (:p) simulators. They just tend to be boring.

I tend to prefer simulations, some RPGs, some strategy games (both real-time and turn-based) and some FPS. I'm a nut for wargames, especially those covering the the WWII era...

What ive never understood is the title Real Time Strategy .... wheres the strategy in those games ...

As play a few games like BF2 and Americas army now and then i like them and rather be firing and hitting some stuff that ordering or moving it,though RTS dose look cool still,though i have not realy played one or in awhile,cant quiet remember if i have.

Same as the majority of people here. I mostly play FPS/RTS, also the rare simulator (il2:fb).
