Vietcong 2 trailer

Hey guys,

I was looking one day on the Pterodon forums and I suddenly saw a trailer-like movie.

As you can see in the trailer a damn lot of weapons were added and of course the older ones in Vietcong, Fist Alpha and Red Dawn remained...

And the physics engine is like wow! It is not Havok, MathEngine, Newton or Karma it is much better and it is optimized for the Ptero-Engine III (VC2)!

The engine itself features Smooth Soft-Shadowing on every single object in the game, Shader 2.0 support (maybe 3.0 support too) and great a particle engine...

You can see alot of French used weapons in the trailer too (Czech ZB-37 Besa machinegun, MAT-39 & MAT-49 SMG, FN L1A1, etc.)...

So how do you find the trailer itself?? I'm surely gonna buy it!

The game sure has a lot of weapons. Vietcong was a good game, looking forward to vietcong 2

viet cong was ok yet it was a pain in the arse to get sorted on lan and the sorts. maps were good and interesting yet one key problem is me and my friends like to play bots rather than online players (partly because we get pwned. partly because im on WiFi :() if they include that im buying it :cool:

looks intresting, i played both vietcongs & they where pretty decent games. noticed how much he lagged when he fired the rocket & it hit that tall crain thingy.

its intresting to learn about, cant wait till i study it next year for gcse. they made some good films for vietnam

We Where Soldiers <-- good, dramatic film about the 295 americans that where attacked & outnumbered by i think 4,000 enemys in the la drang valley. yanks came out on top :) . featuring mel gibson.

Theres something about the Vietnam war that never sat well with me, maybe thats why I don't like the Games, or MODs based on the game.... Me too, a friend of mine told me I should try it but I really tried to not do it...

But I actually did tried it because I didn't want to make my m8 angry so I gave it a shot...

Holy crap :eek: this is f*cking sweet!! I remember and it is the only nice Vietnam-based game ever!!!
