There's a game coming out in quarter 1 of 07 called Feild Ops. Looks pretty interesting as you can play it as an RTS than whenever you want to, switch to a FPS from the perspective of a soldier you command.

Isnt that sortve the concept they used with rise of nations rise of ledgends or whatever its called?

They used that concept in one of the recent Command and Conquer games too. . .and the game Savage: Battle for Newerth.

Only FPS type C&C game i know of was Renegade but then again i dont pay attention to C&C, and if you dont mind my asking whats Savage?

The voice in that trailer sounded really cheesy but the game does look good.

Sounds really cool. The only other game I know which has anything similiar to that is War Front: Turning Point, but it only lets you control stationary gun turrets in true FPS mode.

No C&C games have this kind of concept, neither did Rise of Legends.

Good concept, but the FPS part looks kinda sucky if you'd ask me.

Interesting concept. Who's to know if it will be any good?

Although honestly, FPS mode looks like kind of a gimmick to me- I don't see how it could actually be a true advantage in the game.
