Rally 44

Just a repost of a mod idea I have worked on off and on for a few months. Rally '44 (tentative name) will be a recreation of the automobile race initialized by Brock Yates in the early 70's.

It's a race from New York to Los Angeles and has been immortalized in such movies as The Gumball Rally and The Cannonball Run. The only rules are to get there first and to get there fast.

It will be quite some time before I can begin working on this because I have very little time to start on it. However, if there is anyone interested I can get a small site and forum set up for the purpose of discussing and ironing out the games feature set.

I'll post more when I have time.

You should ask Ronan about his 'Let's Ride' workshop, I'm not sure what stage they're at, but you might be able to build upon the work they've already done.
