What would happen if Hitler won the war?

This is a thread sort of related to the 'Could Hitler have won the war' thread. So I was wondering what you thought would happen if Hitler did win the war.

I can see another Cold War happening, but between Germany and the United States. In order for Hitler to have won, the Soviet Union would have to have been defeated or crippled prior to the end of 1943, by which time Germany would have been in a position favorable enough to either force a surrender from the Western Allies or to take the time to invade Great Britain. Following the end of hostilities, say by 1950, I can see a European Union set up, with the capital in Berlin of course. I would imagine a number of new nations would be created, but just puppeted and still a part of the German Empire (think Lokot Republic), mostly in the Eastern Provinces. I would think that Europe, save for Germany, would be disarmed or given a very basic defense force so that power would be concentrated in Germany's hands, but I can see their economies as being very good. With the lack of the United States having spoils of war from the German side to aid their own cause, I could see them losing that Cold War.

What if everything had gone as Hitler planned, to this day? Do you think we would be here typing this? Or would we be working in some labour camp, or already dead?

As all great powers, the Thierd Reich would come to an end. It's impossible to say,when,how,or where, but it would happen. I'm just happy that the Allies won! It was some dark times, but the united powers of the west and east finally won over the threat of Nazi-Germany, and as I've said before: It's impossible to say what would exactly happen if this would NOT have happen.

or someone would have eventually assassinated him or something. I don't think there would be any scenerio of hitler after the war. He was always high on meth anyways.

Why exactlly would everyone be dead? (although a hell of a lot of people would be, i remember reading that Himmler had made plans up for the foundation of several cities in the Steppe ... the living space which was one of the sources for the war ... and notes on moving onto 'Orentials' after they had finnished off the Jews, Slavs etc :eek: )

One must ask is how would have Hitler have nuked the world?

His nuclear program was in the crapper, and the only one (possibly 2) the Germans set off (which they suposidly did during the final days of the war - although it is hardly ocnfirmed and is supose to be myth), was supose to be of such low yield that according to some chart the Americans drew up in the 40s or 50s ... it would not actually be classed as a nuclear bomb ;)

I remember my professor once said that one of Hitler greatest dreams was to walk into the white house and have a parade in New York. Hitler plans all along was to invade the East for space, take over Great Britain, then have an all out assault on America from the Atlantic while the Japanese attack from the Pacific IF all went according to plan.

That's BS. Also I doubt that Hitler had given the order to gas all americans/brits/frenchmen, since most of them would've been considered "aryan" as well, or at least acceptable.
