Everyone knows the story of 'Humpty Dumpty' yes?
"Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the kings horses and all the kings men
couldn't put Humpty together again"...

Now for some reason, every single picture I have seen relating to Humpty depicts Humpty as being an egg. That's right. An egg.

A bunch of people with crowns and capes try to put the pieces back together - No luck
A bunch of horses try to put the pieces back together - No luck

It's apparently meant to be a fairy tale or something... Makes no sense at all. What the hell is an egg doing on a wall, and why are people trying to put it back together? No sense at all...


So anywho, I was just reading some crap on the wall at work today. Not really that interesting, just letters to the editor of a newspaper. Stuff like that.
Someone wrote a reply in to a previous letter, (which I haven't seen). It said something along the lines of -

I freaked out.
Humpty Dumpty was a CANNON?!
Makes a lot of sense though. Humpty sat on a wall - fell off the wall; shattered; town needed cannon to defend themselves, hence kings horses + men trying to put it together again.

Firstly I must establish that a "thread," be it the type with which you weave - that is considered a part of 3-space - or a post in a forum - which can graphically be represented in 2-space, or its electric currents represented in 3-space - must be confined to 2- or 3-space.

Having established the aforementioned, I can now proceed to my point. Technically a "pointless thread" cannot physically exist, since a thread occupies a 3-space in dimension, and since a line in 2-space is a subspace of 3-space, and we have established that a "thread" is at least a 2-space line, and at most a 3-space object, and given that a "point" is a 1-space entity, with the knowledge that 1-space is a subspace of both 2-space and 3-space, there can never exist a "pointless thread," having established clearly that anything pointless cannot exist in 1-space, and nor can it exist in any higher dimensions.

So I can safely say this is one (but not THE) of the most pointful threads, being that it exists in both 2- and 3-space, and thus contains an infinitive number of points in its 1-space subspace component.
