I have CS and DoD, but they use the WON servers, so I have to play with bots, which is incredibly boring as they are incredibly stupid.

? Just go download Steam, it's free, and then you can play CS and DoD, have to buy HL2 inorder to play Source games tho...

Steam has been on my comp for a while, so, now...

I move the CS files to the Steam folder? Keep in mind that this is CS 1.5... no Riot Shields and stuff...

Just open up Steam register and add in the CD-Key that came with the game and you will have to redownload the games thru Steam, thats the most Efficient way to get things working.

Problem is, I used a burned HL1 CD, which means the key has already been used, and I no longer have the disk. :P

No, he's saying he doesn't have the original jewel case in which the key was printed on. Again, ANY Valve game, including Blue Shift, will work.

Hmm. Yes, I guess you could consider it pirated...

I don't know the details. I think my brother burned his friend's HL CD, then installed it on our computers. When steam first came out, I tried using the CD-Key from HL1, but it said that it has already been used. Over the years, things got misplaced, and now we can't find the CD again...

Ok well then go to Wal*Mart, they have hl1 games for $9.95 and the HL2 edition for $29.95, I just bought another copy of HL2 for my Son.

i have the original OFP but when i install it i just get a black screen, i take its because the game is getting old & i have a new pc. i think i need the latest patch but i dont know what it is. can somebody please give me the version of patch or even a link to download. thx in advance.

(also, is that invasion 1944 mod for the original OFP??)

It's happened to me, where I have the image of the game and loose the case.
Thats why I now stick all receipts of each game in their box and stick them on top of my wardrobe. If I don't, they usually get chucked out by a cleaning tornado that I call a mother :p

Thinking about whats up there, I think I might pull down Tony Hawks Underground 2 and give that another go :D

invasion 1944 mod is for ofp resistance.
