Is it possible to keep China in check?

Since it was OT in the other thread, I'll make a seperate one.

What do you think can be done to keep China from going expansionist in the relatively near future?

In my opinion, the best and most logical answer would be to allow Japan to develop their own military free of restriction. We could also encourage India to become more than a regional power. Australia and New Zealand will be key factors in a possible struggle as well, and of course South Korea, but I don't know of much more they can reasonably do that they aren't doing.

Of course, this is all just my opinion, and I'm far from an expert on the subject.

Actually one key thing that will help stop Chinas expansion is Americas lil Missile defense plan (ya, thats right, its not Russia the U.S is worried about... is China) It will cripple Chinas tactial missiles (nuclear, chem, bio, long-range strike)

Im sure the U.S could theoretically mobilize their airforce none stop and bomb installations and large armor formations continuously... forcing China into a more infantry role (which their better suited for in the first place)

Of course this would CRIPPLE massive sections of the American economy, making it rot from the inside if the war is long enough... and lets face it, if China sets out to conquer the world through sheer military force, North and South America would be attacked last. But the length of time it the engagement would last... North America would become a 4th world country (ya...), IF it continuously attempted to prevent Chinas expansion.

Would this have an affect on Chinese economy? yes, some parts good, some parts bad... just depends on how China will operate its self, it is a communist country after all, so its not subject to the same economic influences as capitalist countries (ie. democratic)

And, lets face it... China has... litteraly, enough people, to physically wipe the world clean of any non-asian race.

Now im sure that the UN and World Forces would attempt to stop China, but how? they just dont have the forces, money, resources, to stand against a united asian front... so? i guess nuclear, bio, and chemical weapons would be used to help EASE our forces strains, and put down the "Red Plague" of China, would the nations of the world sink that low? take a look at the "China hate, Japanese hate" Post... you would get the impression that the people of the world western world wouldnt commit such atrocities... well guess what? with the tards in every political office in the world, you fuckin bet we would... this ends the world as we know it, consider our race (human) screwed...

BUT if these "forbidden" weapons were not used by either side? China could effectively conquer the entire world in about 40ish years, uniting it under one banner... for better or worse, granted the world would be in the shits, but... could be worse :p

Of course this is all "IF" China takes an Offense Military strategy... as it could just as easily "suck up" all the worlds resources, use diplomacy and market forces to effectively cripple every country in the world... making it ripe for the picking.

As for round the clock bombing agaisnt armour formations, as far as am aware has it not been the case not the vast majoirty of enemy AFV targetted and attacked by the air forces of the west been unsucceful.

It's always possible North Korea will invade the south because of the already collapsed economy or because of a huge border clash. And maybe, but highly unlikely, China could help North Korea again. Then the West and South Korea would declare war on China along with maybe Israel. The Middle Eastern Muslim countries and northern Africa could all attack Israel, causing the West to declare war on them. Another thing that could happen is Communist countries joining China and NK. Now it's World War 3. Nukes could be launched and the world dies. Probably the most unlikely thing I've ever thought of but hey, it's possible. I remember seeing some guys discussing the possability of the Korean War (which is still officialy ongoing i believe) of restarting stated that the Chinese hate the North Koreans now and had been in some form of talks with the US on how to keep the north peaceful.
Although that was years ago and who knows if those dudes were talking out there ass :p
