The Canadians make their move! In time, Switzerland will finally make its claims to Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America!

The Swiss wouldn't do that. When was the last time they got involved in any foreign affairs?
Blame Canada

Here in Denmark there is also work in progress to claim the arctic. In fact I think we should not stop there... let's reclaim England, Northern Germany, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, New Foundland, Iceland and The Virgin Islands. :D
edit: Oh, and Normandy too.

Shame that nobody's going to clam the rest of France. Even France.
"In 1984, Denmark caused a stir by raising a flag on Hans Island, one of the islands south of the North Pole, buried a bottle of brandy at the base of the flagpole and left a note saying "Welcome to the Danish island"."

love this quote!
gotta love those crazy ruskies they know that canada doesnt have subs so we cant remove it...we could always ask politely to remove it...
And I just read that the Danes are also jumping on the bandwagon making their own effort to claim sovereignty. What have the Russians started...

I thought this was international law, that nations get 200 km of sea from their coast line. There's no way the northwest passage is international waters, it's Canadian territory! What about through all those islands in Indonesia, is the sea in there international waters?
Oh and Canada has 4 submarines (although the last I saw was the HMCS Chicoutimi in drydocks...), but none that can plant flags in the water.

Denmark sent a letter of protest to Ottawa, while the Canadians and Danes took out competing Google ads, each proclaiming sovereignty over the rock.Best line ever

No, no, no. The lands east of a meridian located 370 leagues west of the Canaries belong to Portugal, those falling on the western side belong to Spain.
