Maybe many of you don't care about our country, for it is not of your business and Burma has a bad reputation. But please help, and do whatever you can for us. Since 1962 our poeple have so long longed for freedom and so we tried once in 1988. Unfortunately, we failed miserably, but now the chance has come again.

Thousands are monks and people are walking in the streets shouting for freedom and bearing the flags of NLD. It has been like that for maybe a week now, and the government has warned us that anybody who still does that will be shot on sight the next day.

I will be participating in our fight for freedom as well. So I may not see any of you again...I hope we can get our freedom. We will do anything for it. Fight with sticks and stones, we will fight til our last drop of blood. The fighting will start tomorrow.

I do not know if the UN can help or not. But I really hope they will one day. And thanks everyone on this forum. I really would love to play this game one day, maybe one day I can play with you all online, but it might not be possible now. Good luck everyone and hope you all can live a happy life. Enjoy freedom and democracy!

Good luck, but what is it exactly you are fighting for? What freedoms are not allowed?

Check out the news, Facisit milatary government is in control after it seized power via a coup and supresses the people, the last time they protested over 3000 people where massacred by the army that appears to be on top of the many other occasions they have massacred the populance when they protest. It seems there have been no free elections and much of the political opposition has been supressed etc

All in all ... nasty business.

Good luck to the monks and other people on the streets over the coming days and weeks.

What type of Freedom and Democracy are we talking about here?

Freedom of speech and press and a parliamentary system of democracy, I'm guessing.
