I've been following this game for several years (since 2007/2008 i believe) and have for the most part just checked up every now and then to see how it's going. It occurred to me the other day while i was reading up on WWII vehicles that many trademark vehicles included in other games (M4A3E8 "Easy Eight", M4A1 (76), King Tiger, Jagdtiger, M18 Hellcat, M36 Jackson, and several other units) were not present during the battle of normandy, but were put into service relatively soon after (august-september for most of the above mentioned). I've read the FAQ and i've heard several times in other threads "only units/vehicles that were present in normandy will be included in the game". My question is twofold:
1) Will vehicles that were not in production at the beginning of the battle of normandy but were introduced during the later stages/shortly after be included in the game?
2) How do the developers plan to incorporate vehicles that were put into service during the battle of normandy? Since the game has no spawning, how will they keep, say, a King Tiger from being moved into the fighting earlier than it historically appeared? If the AI is dynamic and conforming to developing situations and tactical problems, it seems very possible that the Axis AI would deploy heavy tank battalions containing superior vehicles not yet in production.
A possible solution to the above problem is to resupply tank units (on the axis side) with the new tanks in accordance with historical chronology.
I am sorry if this question has already been answered, but due to the forum cleanup i haven't been able to go back very far.
Thanks everyone,
